Finally!
I have finally stopped crying enough to share my timeline. I still can’t believe this day is finally here. Transferred to Miami FO on March 24, RFE for medicals issues May 5, received by office June 6 and approved today.
For every single one of you who might see this and have that sinking feeling of “it’s never going to happen”: I feel you because that’s been me so many times, and I am sending strength and love to get through this trash. Social Security Card after Green Card Approval
I applied for the social security card when I submitted my I-485. I received a green card with the approval on June 17, but I haven't received the social security card yet. How many weeks I should wait? Or should I visit the Social Security office and apply in person? Any information?
