administrative processing on minor
I went with my 8 years old to my interview appointment yesterday,my son wasn't interviewed. at the end of the interview the officer said our papers are approved. 2 hrs later my son's case on administrative processing and mine is not
does anyone know how that works?

Since becoming a U.S. citizen in October 2024, I called USCIS to request an upgrade of my I-130 case, and I was advised to allow 30 days for processing. However, it has been several months, and I have not received any updates or changes to my case status.

• Evidence Received by USCIS: December 6, 2024.
• Approval Updates:
• January 27, 2025: “New card is being produced.”
• January 28, 2025: “Case approved.”
• January 30, 2025: “Card mailed.”
• Green Cards Delivered: February 3, 2025.
