Has anyone filed a WOM for a delayed I-485 recently?
Has anyone filed a Writ of Mandamus (WOM) for a delayed I-485 recently?
My attorney recently told me that in two of the WOM cases he filed, government attorneys are preparing to file Motions to Dismiss, arguing that the applicants haven’t waited long enough for their I-485 applications to be considered unreasonably delayed.
I filed my own WOM in September, so I’m pretty worried about this.
Has anyone else experienced something similar recently? Did the government attorney try to dismiss your case? If so, what happened afterward?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!

Hi
I had my interview back in July 2025.
It has been three weeks since I requested an inquiry from the congressman, but I haven't received a response yet.
I called the congressman's office, and they told me the matter is under review; they also said that if I want to expedite the process, I should appear in person at the office with my partner.
Does anyone have information on how this works?

NOT ME JUST FOUND THIS ON REDDIT
Just saw a post that somebody shared a picture of his timeline and showed his GC (asylum based) was approved on Oct 03, 2026. He says is from the 39 countries.
Not sure if he filed WoM.

Question about Medicals
Hi friends ,for those that had vawa approved and filed 1485 concurrenttly along with medicals before 2023 and they supposed to considered expired like mine, did you all had to Resubmit new medicals or someone got approved without? Little frustrated about the delay that comes with that given that I have no changes on my health profile.
Thanks in advance.
