So I have been asking questions about this I-131 form but no one answers. I initially asked if anyone has ever requested an appointment due to a family emergency/ death and have gotten through? I now understand that process and will share our experience if anyone wants to hear. Does the field office and NBC share info? Do they eventually see that you were approved or not for travel outside the country while I-130 and I-485 is pending; and does that influence the process in any way? Anyways my husband lost his grand mother and I requested an appointment online to go into the field office and we were fortunate enough to have given the chance to travel together I’m so excited. I just pray that it will be smooth sailing coming back into the country. They gave my husband just a month for which we are grateful so now he can actually see family and get to attend his grandma’s funeral after not being able to travel for years.
I-131 expedite call with T2 officer
I am waiting for T2 officer's call for expedite request I asked for.
The reason I requested expedite is medical situation with my father.
I am concerned if they ask for documentation and I may not be able to request English version from hospital or find certified translation service in my country.
May you know if they typically request dociments, or any advice in my situation. Anything that I can ask T2 officer..

i485 PENDING THROUGH SIJS
Hello!!!
I was so excited when I received the request from immigration that I needed to send my medicals and then they after they confirmed that they received, they marked my case as pending because a visa is not immediately available to me.
At first I thought that it was because FY is almost over so they’re just waiting until Oct 1st to reopen my case.
Then my lawyer told me that it could be because my priority date is no available yet.
For me it is very weird because why would USCIS send me RFE if my priority date is not available?
is anyone going through the same or has seen this before? any thoughts or suggestions?
personally the FY makes more sense but because my lawyer said it’s because of the priority date, so it’s confusing.
