Even if your PD isn't current, USCIS can still work on your case. It's the matter of final approval that needs PD to be current.t

@Lisbeth Mendoza because English is the dominant language of international business and global communication, so there is nothing wrong with speaking in English and also I believe most or all the people in this app wants to live or already live in the US, which English is the most widely used language

my priority date is 04/19/19. still waiting for it to get approved 🥲🥲

It could be that you're next in line and that they are preparing for one a Visa does become available so that it can be assigned quickly to you.

i wasnt current when they sent rfe either. and after that, no decision. you have to wait until you get current

I was shocked that they asked for my medicals too and that gave me hope to get my GC soon but the truth is that you might get denied if your priority date is not current. You lawyer is right, it IS because of the priority date. But do not get discouraged!!! it will be just a matter of time 😊
