601a EXPEDITE REQUEST DENIED (second time)
I'm really curious.
My wife's parents are very ill and due to humanitarian urgency, my lawyer filed an expedited request for a 601a over the phone, but it was immediately denied by immigration.
Rejected twice without requested documents.
Immigration says that it can be rejected without document screening, but I'm curious. What should I do,,,,, My wife cries every day.
Attorneys may make repeated emergency requests, but fees apply. In my case, it's August 2021, Nebraska.
Should I make another Expedite Request or should I just wait?
How can I at least review an Expedite Request?

Is your wife the US citizen/ US resident? The reason why I’m asking is because if she’s the applicant (meaning she is not the US citizen/US resident) they won’t approve the expedite request. We have to remember that USCIS unfortunately only cares about the hardships and suffering of the US citizen/US resident and not the applicant waiting for their I601A to be approved.

So if you are the US citizen/Resisent you would have to be the one suffering due to your wife’s parent’s being sick. You would have to be the one going through an extreme hardship for them to consider and expedite.
