Hi everyone,
please did anyone get any update like “USCIS is currently processing your case”? If yes, please how long more did it take for any new update and what was the update that came? please and thank you! it’s been one year 3months for my EAD now, just got laid off from work coz of no new updates. and they only just updated it to this couple days ago.

today I login to my account I see I was approved since December 12 I see another approved June I see another one on July I log out and login back it disappear it now says we have received your application and sent you a receipt I don’t really understand yesterday my wife talk to the agent and they said my case is being processed

PD July 15, 2022. AOS & medical submitted Dec 28, 2022. Biometric done Feb 2023. Received EAD & AP. Date retrogress, waiting……

Jan-Mar no movement. Approach Senator in April 2026. Meantime submitted EAD renewal online, immediately case got transferred from NBC-LAFO, due to workload. Received a call from USCIS about verification. Medical expired, USCIS issued RFE April 21 2026.
LAFO received RFE response on May 12, 2026. Logged in the system May 20,2026. “This is the important date and the clock starts from here.”
Waiting…..Approach local congressman after 30 days June 10, 2026. Received positive response July 9, 2026.
I was not able to open the SR but my dependents open the SR after 60 days on July 20, 2026.
Case approved July 22, 2026!

Has anyone had a similar timeline?
My EB-4 priority date (September 27, 2022) is finally current 🎉, and my I-485 is still pending.
One thing I found interesting is that on July 15, my case status was updated to “Case Was Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken,” even though I actually completed biometrics years ago. My lawyer said we don’t need to do anything right now except wait for USCIS to send an RFE for my medical, and she expects we should hear something in the near future.
Has anyone else had their fingerprint status update years after they originally completed biometrics? If so, how long after that did you receive your medical RFE or approval?
Also, at what point would you consider contacting your congressional representative for a case inquiry? Would you wait a while now that my priority date is current, or would you reach out sooner? And if you did contact your congressperson, did you let your attorney know first, or did you handle it yourself?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your timelines and experiences. Thanks!
also I’m thinking of doing my medical now that visa bulletin is current in August so that it can avoid decision delay.

does anyone have similar timeline as me than has received RFE or any update? I got an update on July 15 about fingerprint been taken which I already took years ago. damn it been long for me I’m getting impatient and according to the August bulletin my case is current. do you suggest I want or contact my congress? Also do I have to inform my lawyer b4 I contact congress ?

Has anyone in this community received this type of response on a Refugee Travel Document (RTD) case or after submitting an e-Request as an asylee? I’m trying to find out if anyone has had a similar experience.

Hello,
Can someone help me understand this?
I applied for PP in June, and fees was deducted the next day of receiving but I never received a mail with PP reciept number confirmation. I reached out to PP team on 15th July online to confirm if they have documents. Upon that email, they sent me a new generated reciept confirming case was received and they’ll have info for me soon.
Does PP result come before 45 days, or on the 45th day? If RFE, is requested is it before 45 days or after? What if there’s no news? How does PP work?
Has anyone received I-485 approval after an arrest with no conviction?

Has anyone here been arrested in the past and later received approval for Adjustment of Status (I-485), especially under EB-3 Unskilled?
In my case, I was arrested, but the court case was later dismissed by ACD and sealed. I did not plead guilty, and there was no conviction. USCIS has now issued an RFE requesting the arrest and court records. I have collected the Certificate of Disposition and the other available court documents.
If anyone has gone through a similar situation, could you please share:
Whether your I-485 was approved,
Whether USCIS scheduled an interview,
What documents USCIS requested,
How long it took after responding to the RFE
I understand that every case is different.
I am only looking for personal experiences, not legal advice.
