has anyone experienced this?
My son’s case changed to “3 weeks until the case decision” on August 6. Then it went to “2 weeks,” then “1 week.” Last night I was really hoping to see “approved,” but instead it changed to, “Your case is taking longer than we expected, but it is still within normal processing times.”
I feel a little frustrated and confused. Has anyone else experienced this status? If so, how long did it take for your case to actually be approved after that?

I sent a request regarding my RFE to make sure it was received since April 10th bc according to the api notes it was not received and expired. it took a month to respond and this is what I got today.
Your case is within our current processing time. Our systems show that we received your response to our Request For Evidence (RFE) on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, on April 10, 2025, and processing has now resumed on your application.
USCIS systems indicate that your case is awaiting an interview. Your local USCIS Field Office will contact you once they are able to schedule the appointment. Should you not be contacted by your local USCIS Field Office within 90 days of this notice, please reach out to the USCIS Contact Center for additional assistance.
so correct me if I am wrong please and share your experience.
1. they resumed as of today processing my application? (what the hell were they doing the past 5 months?)
2. my application was at national benefits center. has it been already transferred or it will be transferred?

My #f2A fellows that have been waiting for more than 2 years, don’t forget that if you got your medical (form #i693) before Nov 2023, it expires after 2 years! I had my interview 2 days ago and found out the day before that my medical is expired and I should have renewed it.

My brother recently received a call from a company claiming to assist with this visa type. How can we be sure that this company is legitimate and not a scam? What steps should we take to verify their credibility?

Interview Approved on Aug 14th – Still No Update in the System
I had my interview on August 14th. The officer told us we were approved, but she didn’t give me any paper. She said I would see the update on the portal by Monday or Tuesday after the interview, but until now nothing has changed.
I’m feeling a bit sad about the wait. Has anyone else experienced the same? How long did it take for your update to appear after the interview?

We attended our green card interview on August 14, 2025, but have not received any updates since then. Our online case status continues to show ‘Case is being actively reviewed.’ Could you please advise on the next steps or provide an update on the status of our application
