my Vawa case shows “new card is being produced” but my I-485 remained the same. does it mean it’s my new EAD or a GC?
applied as a DV survivor and I filed my I-485 with my I-360 at the same time back in 2021. I never had an interview or an approval notice for my Vawa.did get my prima Facie letter.
all the steps were skipped. (I understand that now it’s approved if the card is being issued) but I still have no updated under my I-485 and I am very confused about which card to expect.
did anyone have similar experience in the past?
anyone else waiting for I-130 decision?
It sucks because my family applied me back in 2018 with an I-485 and I-765. USCIS said we had some errors so we had to resubmit. I-765 got accepted and was able to work since then. COVID happened and after 5 years of waiting, we called USCIS to see if they can process my I-130 and I-485 faster since it was way past the processing time. A few weeks later, I was informed I was denied…
We waited for so long and they should’ve just told us when they told us we had errors but no. They just made us waste our time with hoping. I was so guilty with the thought that maybe I shouldn’t have called them… I felt like I lost hope.
Turns out our lawyers at that time were wrong. I was only supposed to send an I-130 and not yet an I-485.
So here we are, back to square one. Submitted an I-130. UNEMPLOYED and counting on student loans since I have no job and my parents don’t make enough money.
Anyone else waiting and just feels so hopeless… #I130 #waiting

I am considering to file one next month if there is still no action from congress. Can you guys please share some resources and examples of a vawa mandamus. I wasn’t able to find any proper examples online. I would be extremely grateful if you could share yours in case you have one already.
