it been 8.5 month since I filed my application,case is still at NBC,no EAD approval yet,maybe if I had gotten my ead probably I will be a little relaxed knowing that at least I can work,now my patience is very little,seing jobs for $60 per hour and more but I couldn’t get the job because I don’t have EAD.
Can’t believe I’m typing this. AOS approved.
Earlier today I got the notification that my EAD is approved. Hours later I got a new notification, I-485 “New card is being produced”. This all happened after getting the news yesterday that my case was transferred to a non local FO.
The wait has been so stressful, and I know there’s people that have it worse, but wow this feel so good after so much effort on these applications. After almost 7 years in the country, 2 O1 visas, a year and a half of preparation for I-140, my AOS is approved.
Thank god.
