Case Processing
Finally, My Turn - Approved
PD 10/14/2020
New card is being produced today. It’s been quite a long wait for me but I can finally see my family, and to sleep like never before.
I will be honest, those 1000+ days took a toll on my mental health. I cannot express how I relieved I am right now. Hoping to get a physical GC in hand soon to finally get this over with.
Wish to everyone to have lots of patience and the quickest approvals.
Today is the 4th - so May the Force be With You 🙏🏼

Where to file I-765 with category (c)(9)
I am trying to refile my I-765 with c9 category since I’ve initially submitted it with c31 along with my VAWA and I-485.
I really need to speed up my EAD process since I haven’t been able to work for 3years already since I came to the US.
Do you know which address I should file to? The chart and description are quite confusing.

We are pleased we could assist you with your request today via telephone. Assistance has been warranted per your request.
Did anyone got this email after submitting an I-485 expedite request, and after speaking to someone from USCIS?? The officer was extremely nice and told me that I would hear from them mid next week. But I have good feelings about this email!! did anyone receive something similar? thank you so much VAWA family!!! God bless yall!

Still Waiting Since February 2021…..
I’m really stressed out about this situation. I’m still trying to hold it together, been waiting since 2021, and still nothing as yet. I contacted my congressman, White House, senator, they all came back with the similar reply from USCIS, due to the amount of workload we received, we are still trying to process your case as fast as possible….all generic responses. My case is outside of normal processing time, I did countless calls, Emma and inquires and still NOTHING!! I don’t know from this point onwards what to do now! :(
