Write of Mandamus After waiting 3 years & 6 months I-485 filed WOM 2 weeks ago. Today my online case status changed to we transferred your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, to another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Any one have same experience after Mandamus filed? And where they transfer my case. My asylum granted in 2022.

They responded to my RFE almost 17 days ago, still waiting and trusting God. I don’t know how long it will take. hopefully soon.

Been a long time coming!!!! “New card is being Produced” 🕺🕺🏾. Involving my local congressman to help expedite my EAD renewal was the best decision i made. Filed my EAD renewal Jan of 2025 and it seemed like my case wasnt progressing after attending my biometrics appointment in April of 2026. I Reached out to my local congressman 3 months ago cus i was on the brink of loosing my job and they submitted an expedited request on my case which got approved 2 months after, prompting my EAD to also get approved shortly after. I would like to encourage everyone in similar situations to be patient and hopeful during this tough time. So grateful to God 🙏 🙏🙏.

hello, has anyone tried chatting with agents through Emma and they will refer you to call uscs saying they don’t have access to pending asylum? l used to be calling USCIS and they would tell me it’s pending for interview but recently when I call and provide the receipt number it just end the call saying they can’t find the receipt number. As anyone experienced the same thing

Asylum-based I-485 interview cancelled — anyone with a similar experience? Here is my timeline: • December 2024: Filed my asylum-based I-485. • January 2025: Biometrics completed. • Interview scheduled for October 20, 2026. • October 8, 2026: Status changed to “Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered.” The cancellation notice says “due to unforeseen circumstances” and that any further action, including a rescheduled interview, will be communicated in a separate notice. My attorney said three other appointments scheduled for that day and the following day were also cancelled, so he does not think the cancellation was specific to my case. No new date has been provided. Has anyone with an asylum-based I-485 experienced this? Were you rescheduled, approved without an interview, or asked for additional documents? How long did it take to receive the next update? I would appreciate hearing your timeline and experience. Thank you!

Has anyone had their SIJ I-360 approved recently but was NOT granted deferred action by USCIS, and has NOT filed for asylum? I’m looking for people with a similar situation. When was your I-360 approved, and have you received any updates since then? If you were in the same situation, what did you decide to do next?

Hi everyone, i got this update from my congresswomen regarding the congressional inquiry they submitted. anyone who got the same update and later got approved? or is it a positive sign that my case is moving forward? “ Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter. This case was received on December 26, 2024 and is currently awaiting interview scheduling by the Minneapolis-St Paul Field Office. Although your constituent’s file is still physically located at the National Benefits Center (NBC), the scheduling of your constituent's interview is within the jurisdiction of the field office. Once the field office schedules this case for an interview, your constituent will receive an interview notice stating the date and time to appear for the scheduled interview. Once the interview is scheduled, the NBC will then forward the file to the field office.”

Has anyone here never received an RFE or any updates (except a recent FBI notice) after the PD became current? Or is it just my case?😟😟

I filed WOM Pro Se last Friday. I couldn’t afford the court fees so I attached a fee waiver. Today the fee waiver was approved by the judge. The Clerk said the Court Marshall will be ordered to serve USCIS. I’ll keep you guys updated!

Buenas tardes les comparto un poco de mi historia mi caso como verán es un i130 F2A con PD de jun 2024 proceso consular, según USCIS mi caso está en california (uno de los más cargados con trabajo) (hace apenas unos días me llegó una actualización, uscis está trabajando en mi caso) es algo muchos siguen en caso recibido o algo así. en fin el tiempo de espera es demasiado y sinceramente estoy planeando dejarlo a un lado (anularlo) una vez se cumplan los 3 años (jun2027) es demasiado desgastante llevar una relación a distancia por ya cerca de 3 años, realmente las estimaciones eran de 2 años la aprobación y el resto el proceso consular en el país de origen pero como van las cosas se proyecta hasta 6 años (a más ) entonces merecen pasar por esto solo por salir de país? y eso que es de manera legal, dando pie a que la ilegalidad se mantenga quién va querer entrar de manera legar esperando cerca a 10 años cuando de ilegal entras en menos de 1 mes tiene sus riesgos claro pero logras más y encima te pagan el vuelo de regreso que irónico, Personalmente me casé con mi esposa la cual la conozco hace más de 10 años pasamos por todas las etapas de amigos enamorados novios, pero verse 15 días al año ( las vacaciones en ese país son de 7 días y el resto son fechas que vas guardando) sumado a que no te dan la visa de turista por miedo a que te quedes de ilegal cuando estás por el camino legal (?) una fumada ilógica, es DEMASIADO desgastante y más cuando somos jóvenes mi esposa y yo tenemos menos de 30 años ambos somos profesionales en nuestro país la idea era emigrar y crecer como pareja y profesionalmente pero nos chocamos con el muro de la burocracia yankee donde premia a los ilegales y hace sufrir a los legales. gracias por su atención espero que puedan cumplir su sueño de llegar a estados unidos y reencontrarse con sus seres queridos.

Why are SIJS I-485 approvals taking so long? They seemed much faster before. 👀 Do you think EB-4 will move forward soon, or will we have to wait much longer? My PD is September 14, 2022. Is anyone else with a similar PD worried about the delays in approvals?
