Case Processing
San Francisco almost paused
look at the most recent N400 quarter data report for Jan to march:https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/data/n400_performance_data_fy2026_q2_v1.xlsx.
San Francisco has 15000 pending, 400 approve and 100 deny 15000/(400+100)*4=120 month.
we all know currently processing speed is way worse than Jan to March. any insights
Asylum gc pending at NBC

485 Interview PD April 2022
Hi
This is the response I got from Emma:
“The case is undergoing reviews with the National Benefits Center. Once the reviews are completed, the case will be placed in line for adjudication. The case was last reviewed by the office on 07/16/2026. The interview is marked as waived. The office is not requesting anything from you at this time. The next step for the case is to be transferred to a field office.”
The interview is waived for now, but can it be scheduled later?
How long does it usually take from this point? Any idea?
F2A 2022-2023 cases
For F2A applicants from 2022–2023, it feels like we need to wait forever. I’m really fed up with this process. It doesn’t feel like they are processing cases in the order they received them.
People with 2025 cases who came on B1/B2 visas, got married to green card holders, and filed for adjustment are getting approved so quickly. Meanwhile, people from 2022–2023 with genuine marriages, clean records, and completed interviews are still waiting for a decision. if they don’t want to give us the green card yet, at least give us some decision. Even visa bulletin was current from last 1 year. Our whole life feels stuck because of this. We miss our families so much and cannot be there to support them physically during their difficult times. Really get exhausted day by day!
