i 485 application
I hope you all are doing well.
I filed my I-485 in May 2024.
I had my I-485 interview in December 2025, but I still have not received any decision or notice regarding my case.
I also submitted an inquiry in June 2026. USCIS responded that I should receive a decision notice soon and that if I did not receive a response within 60 days, I could submit another inquiry.
However, I still have not received any decision or notice. I am now considering filing a mandamus lawsuit. I recently spoke with an attorney who is asking for $4,400 to file the mandamus case.
Do you think I should go ahead and file the mandamus, or should I wait a little longer and submit another inquiry first? I would really appreciate your advice and any similar experiences you may have had.

I asked my lawyer and she says that you could meet anything that it’s a letter that everybody is getting have somebody get something like this ?

I would like to know if there is anyone who submitted their medical exams in September and still hasn’t received a response. I submitted mine with a group of friends, and USCIS received the RFE on September 8. They have already received their Green Cards, but I still haven’t received any response, and my priority date is February 2022

Praying
I’m praying to high powers please approve my EAD. I really need it to get back into the work force. I want to work. I want to contribute to family as well as my own retirement account. Please please please approve it soon. I also pray for many others who are eagerly waiting to get good news soon.

Evidence for 751. Curious what others have sent and if I am sending enough
Hi 👋 I was going to apply for my I-751 but I feel that I need to add to it. My husband and I don’t have shared bank accounts. I am in my 40s and he is in his 50s. Second marriage for both of us. He had accounts before we married and then I opened my own. He pays the mortgage and bills and I pay for groceries and the renovations we have done to our home. We just had the house reappraised after renovating and my name was just added to the deed and mortgage. He has also just added my name to the deed to our cottage. We had debated selling it so my name had not been added.We also have mail sent to his office and not our home as we don’t have a post office box (no mail delivery in my area). Most of our mail has his work address. USCIS has his office as our mailing address.
What I am sending:
New mortgage docs with both names.
Deed for house and cottage
Medical insurance that I have had for 2.5 years through his office (self employed)
Vet records with address
Taxes for 2023/2024/2025
About 50 photos from the past 3 years since marriage
Affidavits from the person who married us, 3 friends, and my step daughter.
Car insurance
Plane tickets from trips and photos of passport stamps
We have now added each other to bank accounts and I will be uploading unsolicited evidence of the shared accounts up until the 751 is approved.
Affidavits from myself and husband explaining the banking and the use of his office address.
I would greatly appreciate some feedback if you think this is enough.

Lord, I come to you because I’m growing very tired. In 2 Corinthians Your word declares that when I’m weak, Your strength is made perfect. Lord, please help my unbelief. I have waited patiently as I knock and still there’s no answer. Lord, please hear Your children’s cry. I beg & beseech thee to strengthen my weary spirit.
You’ve made ways out of no way before so I know nothing is too hard for You. Father, break this shackle of stagnancy and give me what is rightfully mine. You have not created me to stay bound. Your word reassures us “I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seeds begging for bread”, so I know this is not Your will for my life.
How much longer Lord? I know Your grace is sufficient, but how much longer before I reap what is stored up for those who fear and trust You?
Father, I decree and declare, and I command a miraculous victory in our immigration journey for this month of October in the mighty & matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen
