Case Processing
final decision after submitting the RFE
Hi everyone, I wanna share my timeline and hopefully got your opinion.
we submitted the AOS on 2024 with I-130 and I-485. we got the interview on 4/30/2026. on August 12th, I got the approval of I-130. Then, I got the RFE of Form I-864 ( Financial support). However, we did bring to the interview and they scanned but they asked for that again. Anyway, I did submit on August 13th. Now I am waiting for the final decision.
Do you guy know when I can get the decision? my FO is in Dallas Tx.

Anyone w/ a similar situation?
Hey everybody! So just looking for a rough timeline of when I might expect my case to be approved. PD is Dec 12th, 2022 and w/ the Sept. bulletin at Dec 15th my PD is finally current! I was just wondering if anyone had a similar situation to mine and what their timeline looked like. Thank you in advance! :)

Address
My priority date is now current, and my pending adjustment of case remains at the field office in my previous state. I moved to a different state to work for my employer a couple of years ago and didn't update my address, though I explained this during my previous interview there when the officer asked about my residence and told the officer that I live in the employer state and kept the old address due to more permanent/reliable address as my fam lives there. I wonder if I update my address with USCIS now, could it trigger a case transfer to my local field office, and does that increase the likelihood of being called for a second interview here…
Approved I-485 RW
Now is my turn to help all of you on this grup. All we have a long journey to finish successfully. This app and all of you it was big support for me and received a lot of information how to direct my case. Don’t discourage be patient and request to USCIS to review your case. I drew they attention to my case and finally they worked on my case. Your time it will come soon don’t give up. God is good. Let me know if you have any questions.
I wish you the best luck to everyone!

update on my 485 today, need insight
so I applied as the widow of a US citizen. my 360 was filled and approved separately. they have my physical exam form and biometrics was done 6/24/26. the same day there were 3 different FTA0 updates for the background checks. ( highly unique first last names, there's only one person with that name combo). today there was another background check update that they have received results from my background check updates, also marked FTA0 .
is this a good thing, are they looking at my file? Louisville field office, interview likely waived like it happens with most i360 widow filers.
Oath Ceremony done. N-400
Today, my immigration journey officially came to an end.
After 7 years — from filing my I-129F in 2019 to finally completing my N-400, I can proudly say that I am officially a U.S. citizen!
A chapter has officially closed, and a new one begins.
To everyone still waiting: I wish you all the very best. Remember, delay isn’t denial. Keep the faith, stay patient, and most importantly, don’t give up. Your day will come!
case moved to field office
Has anyone gone through a similar situation? I changed my address on USCIS site on Aug 27. Then, the next day I chatted with a live agent who told me my i485 application was transferred from NBC to Dallas Field office on Aug 24 and was last reviewed on Aug 25. I’m worried that this change of address will further delay my case as it will require my case to be transferred again to the field office of my new address.
