NVc welcome email
Hi, I am a US citizen petitioning for my spouse in Nepal. Approved on July 26,2022 and case was sent to Department of State on July 29,2022. I had mailed my i-130 and approval came from Texas service center.
After 3 weeks, I still havent received welcome email with case number and invoice no. I am a USC filing for spouse so there is no quota on visas issued. I checked with USCIS multiple times after approval and everytime they said my i-130 was approved, sent to NVC and case is closed there.
Is anybody facing delay in getting welcome email after approval for CR1 case? When can I expect it?

June 22, I-140 was approved.
July 7, my I-485 was transferred to NBC. After couple of weeks, it went to Atlanta FO.
August 12, a day before my birthday 🎉 🥳, card was being produced 🎁.
Today, August 16, I-765 was also approved 🎈.

I passed Citizenship interview today. I have Oath ceremony scheduled for August 24, 2022.
Following are the questions asked to me.
1. What are two cabinet level positions?
2. Where is Statue of Liberty?
3. How many senators are there?
4. For how many years we elect US Representatives?
5. What ocean is on the west of USA?
6. The idea of self-government is in the first three words of the Constitution. What are these words?
It was virtual interview. So officer was online via Skype like video conferencing call. I was the only person in formal suit. Everyone, men and women were in causal wear.
Three dates regarding travel out of USA were asked. Like when did you exited and when did you enter. Which country did you travel?
Other questions are normal and related to you, like date when you obtained green card, how did you obtain it, what is your employer’s name etc..
I forgot to include citations in N400 application. I had 3 speeding tickets in year 2009 and 2013. I told it upfront. Officer said it was not a problem and took it positively for being honest.
Old people, family and kids were allowed to take Oath the same day at the interview location. Single men like me were given Oath date on August 24th on different city.. lol..

I got and RFIE but my ead card is still shipped around 4 months after the RFIE response was received
