After Years of Denials, RFEs, and Tears… I’m Finally a Green Card Holder 🇺🇸💚
When you want to give up, remember my story.
Today, I can finally say that I am officially a GREEN CARD HOLDER. 💚🇺🇸
But getting here was anything but easy.
Years of waiting. Denials. RFEs. An interview. More waiting. More disappointment. So many moments when I wondered, “God, when will it finally be my turn?”
I’ve been on this app since 2018. During this journey, I deleted it, downloaded it again, came back looking for answers, and sometimes just needed somewhere to release everything I was carrying.
There were days I was mad at myself. Days I was mad at my husband. And yes, there were even days I was mad at God. I cried. I questioned everything. I became exhausted from fighting the same battle year after year.
But somehow, I kept going.
And now, after all those years, all those denials, all those notices, all those prayers, and all those tears…
I AM OFFICIALLY A PERMANENT RESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. 🙏🏾🇺🇸💚
So if you're still waiting and you're tired, frustrated, or ready to give up, I understand that feeling more than you know.
My journey taught me one thing: a difficult chapter does not mean the story has a bad ending.
Mine took years.
But my day finally came. 🙏🏾
DON’T GIVE UP.
FINALLY APPROVED!!! HOPE EVERYONE GOT APPROVED ON TIME
Thank you GOD !! I am blessed

Asylum Decision
Salam and Hello everyone, I wanted to ask for your advice about my asylum case. I applied in January 2024 and had my interview in August 2025. It has now been about 13 months since my interview, and I’m still waiting for a decision. Do you think it would be worth considering a mandamus lawsuit at this point, or would you recommend waiting longer? I would really appreciate your thoughts.

1 year after interview still nothing
F2B category, PD June 2016. It’s been over a year since my AOS interview, and I still have no update from USCIS. I filed my EAD with my AOS, but still haven’t received that either.
I’m from one of the 49 banned countries, but as far as I know, the ban was lifted.
Is anyone else in the same situation? If you had a similar experience, I’d really appreciate hearing what you did or what helped.
Thank U!
