Why are some I-130s are approved before the interview and others are not?
I have seen many cases where I-130 is approved while the case is processing but others are not approved until the date of the interview. what is the reason for that?

I filed I-130 in 2018 expecting to do consular processing and it was approved in 2019. but then my husband became a US citizen and I am present in US so I had to apply for adjustment of status

basically now I have an approved I-130 but I haven’t even done biometrics for I-485 since October 2020
