how long have you waited if longer than 3 or 4 weeks phone uscis and ask

up to 6weeks then u should get the receipt did u pay the filing fee for the 1-485? I heard cases that are submitted with fees are usually first priority other than those that did not send the payment. but u still have the it's usually 4-6 weeks

It takes 2 weeks to 3 months or more. if you wrote the application type on the envelope, when mailing it. Then you will get in 2 - 3 weeks. if not then you may have to wait upto 3 months.

@God's good your receipt date will be the day it was received irrespective of when you receive your receipt notice. if you satisfy all the requirements, you will get your prima facia few days or weeks after your receipt notice. So you won't lose 3 months.

my application was recieved 9th August. I am applying from outside the US. I have not received receipt letter yet.

@God's good so long as you used USPS and you have your tracking number, you're good. but if you used FedEx, UPS etc. check the tracking and make sure it was delivered to essex junction VT 05452. sometimes the courier drivers dump the package at the 75 Lower Welden Street St. Albans, VT 05479-0001. This happens because there's an error in the zip code of the essex junction address on USCIS website.

@God's good confirm from your lawyer that your package was delivered to zip code 05452 and not 05479. if it is 05479 they will eventually drop it off at Essex Junction 05452 or they will return it to you, because the mail forwarding from 05479 to 05452 ended in June 2022.
