just got my approval letter for i360 7th of november after filing it since December 2018 . still waiting for i485 since my case was transferred to another service centre to expidite the case. i look forward to your update too. just letting you know am same track with you

Sounds like the interview is being waived. Congrats. Is this your first medical exam, or did you submit one w/your application back in 2019? I filed in Sept 2019, just got approved Nov 19th. I’m waiting on my EAD card.

just recieved my 3rd ead renewed under vawa last month

The reason I asked, I submitted my exam w/my initial pkg. As it’s over 2yrs old, I’m wondering if they’ll send another RFE wanting a new one proving I’ve had the Covid vaccine. It’s interesting reading the stories on here, as they all have crazy different timelines on when they receive certain documents. I’m going to track just how long it takes to get the EAD in my hands from the time it’s send out, that’s if they send a notification for that.

though am usually issued advance parol bcos i apply for it...this time around my ead doesn't have my advance parol on it

Another question, are you guys applying for the EAD in advance? I thought that I read you can apply for renewal up to 4 months of the expiration date.

Oh yeah, I think you’re definitely on track to get that GC within the year, if not sooner if the EAD is only for 1yr.

kp ....unfortunately mine got expired before i applied for the renewal bcos i couldnt afford paying my lawyer an extra service fee for that which he has increased recently. So after waiting a while ....i took my time to apply on my own

kp....am amazed at that too. lawyer said bcos i had a waiver of fees on my initial application. so i have to keep paying uscis anytime i renew and also pay his service fee for any single application he renews

This is thee most expensive process ever! Once I do start working, not on,y do I have bills to pay off, I have to set aside money for immigration filing! 😜 It’s a money making scheme for sure.

I applied vawa January 2019 got my vawa approved October 2020. my i485 was transferred to another office on August 2020 still waiting for medical and interview

@Dawood and Flex, I filled for VAWA on November, 2019 and it got approved and sent to me on November, 2021. Meanwhile, I filled for AOS I-485 under VAWA on April, 2020 or about 5 months after filling out the VAWA case and my initial fingerprints done under I-130 was applied on them so, my question is do you think my medical examination done under I-130 will equally be applied under the new VAWA I-485 just like fingerprints that was re-used on them or do I have to do another medical examination? I heard it’s now mandatory since October this year to have a COVID-19 vaccine before any medical examination be given again.

Hi Mr T Francis Tbh no idea about your situation I did filed concurrent so after I got approved my I 360 they send me RFE for I 485 to submit my medical.

ben....a mandamus simply put is a request to the court to force uscis to make a decision on a case.

how many prima facies did you have now? do you have a lawyer? and did you ask help from congressman? i just sent a letter to them..still waiting for update...

how did you ask them for help? sending a letter to them? do they update you by email? its my 1st time asking help..my lawyer said i should be the one to write a letter so i did..

its beyond our control..all we can do is hope for the best..i went to this trend so i can attract positivity for my case and get some information and encouragement from successful vawa filers

I think they want to reuse my biometrics since I haven't gotten a letter as regards that

@krish90krish......I think you applied 2 months earlier than me. but I have a friend who applied also around August 2018 and was approved recently about 3 months after my approval. I am optimistic that you have done everything right. All you have to do is keep faith and pray . I am not sure how they pick these cases for approval. But I know that VAWA is a sure path to citizenship. But u must exercise patience and if possible avoid checking up on your status always in order not to be so anxious and thereby being depressed. All things going well, before June u should be approved aswell. best of luck
