i submitted my VAWA in August 2022 but no receipt yet. Can I file for divorce?
Also, my boyfriend is planning that we get married next year and we will file for NIW EB2 together as a couple. is it safe to do so?

if you get married before VAWA is approved you will not get approved and would have to get your green card a different way

if you get married they will denied your VAWA application. you have three choice stay married and wait till it is approved, get divorced and wait till it’s approved or get divorced and get married to your boyfriend and file ( I would recommend waiting a few months after getting married to start paper work)
