Hello everyone, I hope all of you are doing well both physically and mentally. I have an update on my I-485 application. I applied for VAWA in September 2021, and my VAWA was approved in September 2023. Two weeks ago, I received a mail for biometrics, and I went to get my fingerprints taken along with a photo. Yesterday, I received a notification in the app stating that the case was updated to show fingerprints were taken. My question, based on the experience of previous applicants, is what would be the next step—medical examination or interview? I have not submitted the medical exam since 2021.#vawa #i-485

@Kaya don I think next you will get your rfe for Medical’s you can do it now it will be valid for 2 years
so if you do it now you can submit it as soon as you get them

I did my interview last October and I got the same update that my fingerprint has being applied to my case few days ago. hopefully I'm waiting for what next

I think it's general or they working on Vawa cases,I got 3 different people whose Vawa has not been approved at all that got same notification

I got my VAWA approved back in September 2023; got and RFE for medicals and responded in December 2024; and just on July 15; got an update saying fingerprint was updated on my case. Am from one of the travel ban countries. I hope we get our green card approval asap.
