i have my interview in 2 weeks , can you share how the interview went , what they asked ? i really don’t see a lot of people posting about vawa interview here. If you could share your experience i will appreciate it !

i filled on april 2019 my case got approve september 2020 my interview was on jan 2021 at the interview they didn’t ask anything about my case just security information (yes/no questions)

my biometric was taken on 2019

Wow , that was a easy one , hopefully mine goes like that too, i prepared my file with all my documents from approved vawa as well , just in case . I am just expecting anything . I moved to another state in March , sent them a change of address but they still scheduled me in the state i lived when i applied so hopefully that will not be an issue for them to make a decision, congrats , how fast after interview you gor your green card in mail?

after interview day it took 5 days to have the green card on my hands. good luck to you all!

Yes , o know it’s pretty frustrating just waiting and not knowing what to expect , i applied for VAWA in 2018 and got approved at the begining of 2020 . So it took 2 years to get VAWA approved and then after we got the notice in mail we applied for i485 in April 2020, in May they sent my case to NBC to speed up the process then in September 2020 they applied my previous biometrics to the case and about 2 weeks ago my lawyer got a notice of the interview being scheduled . I was supposed to get one too but nothing , not at the old address and not at the new one either . Also case online still says “ fingerprints were taken “ for 11 months now .
