#vawa hello everybody have a question for someone who has had the same experience; I received my work permit and travel permit in almost 4 months, but I haven't received primafacie, sometimes it doesn't arrive? or does it come later? I should investigate why it hasn't arrived? It's not that I want to ask for help, I just want to receive everything that would come to another person doing vawa and want to know if it's safe to travel without received it

I haven’t received Prima Facie and I filed 02/23/2021. so no cause for alarm a lot of No PF got approved with no issues

receiving a PF is always a good sign.. some cases get approved without it , but the majority receive the PF if everything on its face looks good.

no, my case has 4 months old, and combo card approved but no PF yet, maybe it's come later...

@red dead, Most Prima Facie cases get denied too. PF is just a means to benefit and having your work permit approved covers it mostly

yeah I received my PF after 2.2 years .. so don’t worry you’ll get one for sure ..

@RD 096, don’t worry about PF, as long as you have EAD, you are all good. PF just a notice letter that as an alien you will get benefits. i haven’t received 1 PF as well. best of luck!

@sam, I never tried for ead combo. i kept it simple and I waited. For some reason, ead combo card make some delays. No, I’m not disappointing you but I have seen real cases. but again it’s case to case varies. Good Luck!!!

PF is just a way to say that most of the documents presented are good enough to be eligible to file vawa and for some other benefits too.
