I don't no if this give an idea but when my child file my i130 back in 2019 ir5 case it took 11 months I did not get no rfe no appointment nothing my case stay one receive form until they send me the approval letter in the mail

Hello @tas smith, my pd is 10/27/2021. So far I haven’t received any request for rfe, appointment is still pending since my case is consular processing through Ciudad Juárez. My processing time for application decision shows as 2 weeks, hopefully it gets approved by then to continue with the next process.

does anyone know if the time stated is from the beginning when the case was sent in or does it count down. mine says 11 months but is that 11 months from today or 11 months from the start?

This was released days ago I believe so unlikely to have any information on the trustworthiness of that estimation yet.

we are under same category filled in November interview waived in June still waiting for approval when I inquire they said 80 percent of cases approved in 11 months that means not all of them that’s what they said

I wonder if the processing status is only for the I-130? I’m looking for my processing estimated status on my I-212 to no avail.

Nice, so we now know it does actually continue to countdown the time until the estimate provided so it seems to be a functional estimation. 1 week till we see the accuracy/trustworthiness/legitimacy of it. 😊

I checked mine last week and it was displaying 10 months. checked yesterday and the time has dropped to 6 months. I really am hoping that this estimate is somewhat accurate as that is quite a severe drop

Hello, my case updated to “Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time”. I guess I need to wait a couple more weeks or months to expect a decision.

Thank you for the updates @Angelica and apologies it wasn't accurate. I understand the hope it gave and being letdown by it is very frustrating. Hope you get approved real soon. It seems, after seeing multiple people, this is indeed fully inaccurate. Haven't seen anyone get approved at the indicated time. Hopefully they do get this corrected some time because the unknown is horrendous, especially for the planners of each family, like me.

Thanks everyone for the support. Indeed, it’s difficult to obtain an exact date of when our applications will get approved with all the immigration of people from different nationalities that’s happening. I try not to lose hope, even though I’ve been waiting on my case for almost a year. I will continue to keep updating if anything changes. Let’s pray we all reunite with our families soon.

congrats Angelica I’m starting to notice somewhat of a pattern on some cases with these approvals they seem to be taking 14 months hopefully I’m right 🙏🙏
