Unemployed NIW applicant during GC interview
Is an NIW based GC applicant required to have an active employment during interview. My current contract based on my J1 visa will expire in 2 months. While I am hopeful of securing another employment, I don't have any offer yet. Since my date is current, I am worried that if I get invited for interview by uscis before I secure an employment or evidence of employment offer, , that may be a concern. Should I be worried? Has Anoone experienced or read about such scenario before? Thanks

I‘m not a lawyer so better ask one, but the way it was explained to me by ours was that the self-sponsored NIW is for a future endeavour for after you receive your Green Card. So I think you should be good
