Thanks! No, I didn’t. But I read on Reddit that some people chat via Emma with a live agent, just to following up their cases and the next day they had an update on their cases. So I did on Thursday morning and 2 hours later I got the update, then I tried my daughter’s too and 2 hours later she had an update. So that works for me.

when you asked for an update, what did they say?

Gabriela did you just ask for an update of the progress of your case?

I said that I want to know about my I-765, the first guy was so friendly and just told me that the case is in normal processing times and I had to wait, that’s it. The second lady was so rude and told me that I can’t expedite, that I just can do that in case of an emergency, wrote that with capital letters, so I just say thanks to her and disconnected from the chat.

yes it's typing. when you go on it you have to type 'live agent'. you will be directed to a real person.

the agency says they process applications in the order that it was received but I dont believe that’s true
