I do not recommend this, many people have cases that require special attention and processes that are better left in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing. Some lawyers are expensive, yes. But it’s an investment and trust me you DO NOT want to cheap out in one of the most important legal procedures of your life.

I do agree with E YF, sometimes immigration is more than just filling out the forms. If somebody feels like having a lawyer, hired him/her. One time investment is worth it.

E YF you have it wrong I never said don’t higher lawyer all I am saying if you have straight forward with no violation you can do it by your self that all I am saying.

I totally agree with both of you if you want to higher a lawyer it’s up to you all sorry if I said something wrong

congrats🥳.... @E YF i fully agree just like me my PD is 2018 I did my first interview 2019 and I waited without answers and I get a lawyer may she work on my case I went to a second interview last Thursday was approved on the spot 🙏🏼

can you pls share with us your experience at the interview, what kind of questions did they ask you

Our experience was nice because we had a really nice USCIS officer to interview us, it was a lady she just made us left our right hand swear in and the the interview start 1 ? she ask how did we meet me and my wife (2) ? Were did my wife work (3) ? What is my wife profession (4)? Were did we got married (5) she ask me about my wife parents names and were they live (6)? She ask me my wife birthday and to spell her name and say her full name (7)? She ask about my wife kids were they live and how old is the kids and also the kids birthday (7) ? she even ask me how did I reach to the interview did I drive or took the train and more but cannot remover because she also ??? my wife after ??? my wife she ask me ??? in the i-485 form yes or no after all the ??? she told me I will receive a letter in the mail and that is it really luck to meet a very nice humble USCIS officer thank God.

a a one last thing the USCIS officer made me put my two index finger in a biometric mechine also to get some more information from me to see if I was married before.
