Spoke to a real person…….
Hi, I called USCIS and spoke to a really person. She was nice 😊. My case (485) is in Detroit which is my field office. She said everything looked okay, I am just waiting. She said that I need to wait the 30 days from the inquiry 🧐 of my 765.
I said info pass when I called and I got through.
I had contacted the congress person but I am holding off on having him involved. I am worried about getting home for my mother but I also realize that I need to maybe wait until I really need help. I am going to wait and see for a bit and try again with the expidite for my 131 with new info my my mothers oncologist.
For the first time in a long time, I feel some hope. Speaking to a person was good.

that's a good sign, I finally spoke to a real person also today and was told they sent my case to the field office today, so very excited that it is moving along, wishing you a speedy approval

@k k +1-800-375-5283 and then say info pass. You need to enter your receipt number. Then you go on hold. I waited 6 minutes to talk to someone. She was nice.

I wish you get your GC or atleast AP very soon. May god bless your mother with good health and long life!!! My case has not even reached the field office (Detroit) yet.

@R D When NVC approves your case, do they send it to the local office? Mine was sent on September 22 but I haven't received anything else.🥺

that’s great news. a lot of cases get in and out of the field office in a month or two. I hope it’s soon for you!

How do you get to talk to a real person? The computer keeps on talking and isn't forwarding me to a real person

@Asiya Xaashi You need to get to the point where it allows you to say something. Sorry, I don’t remember exactly at what point. I said info pass and it worked.
