RFE - I130 F2A
Hello.. Can somebody please help me. I checked my online account that a RFE was sent and when I checked the documents there is an attached letter for the RFE and it was written there to mail the RFE documents. If I am going to mail the needed documents do I still need to upload the documents in the online app? I am confused coz there is an option in there “Respond with evidence” I don’t want to click that one yet till I have those documents needed in my hands just kinda scared thinking once i click that option I should upload the documents right away.
So, is anyone here have the same situation? is it necessary to upload it also online or just mail it to the uscis address given or better yet mail and upload it as well?. Thank you in advance for those who will reply. Keep safe all!

I was issued and RFE as well and my lawyer said it’s better to mail it in, which he did. I’m not sure if it’s necessary to do both.

if u read the whole thing you'll see that they say u can either mail it or upload it. I suggest u upload it cuz they will receive it right away instead of mailing which will take couple days to arrive or update on your file

I had RFE a month ago. I upload all the needed documents after my lawyer figured them out. all I would recommend is you will save time if you upload all of them online. because if you mail it, it is gonna take 4-5 days to be delivered and it may take another 4-5 days to update your case. Automatically it will take 2 week including weekends maybe more.

just make sure, prepare everything perfectly. if you have a lawyer, he will know what to do. if you don't. google it and learn how to respond to uscis for rfe

ı did just onlıne once they received requested evidence. they don’t accept those 2 times. it’s written on letter

I haven’t submit it yet. we’re still preparing for the documents needed. It says in the letter to mail it to the said address. I’m just confuse if i can do it online or just mail since thats what they want.

there also says you must either mail the requested information to adress shown below or upload your response using your USCIS online account. idk if your letter is different.

hello, were you able to send all documents? I have more than 5 which is the max, but I am thinking on combining some of the evidences into a single pdf so I can submit them all. Curious if this would be an issue.

I uploaded the documents online and mailed them as well. Also, I combine some of the evidences into a single pdf too.
