yes. it’s normal. Sometimes you can receive a confirmation email to let you know it was verify. It can be same day, a week, or more. It depends how fast the immigration services reply. you can always call DMV customer service number to check if your immigration status has been verified.

I went to dmv nyc for real 🆔,they almost completed my application before one of them said they need to to verify my work permit status,since then I’ve not heard anything from them.

@Sam sam when did you file your EAD renewal and when was it approved? we have the same timeline, October 2022

@Sam sam It’s seems like every state is different. I went to get my real id and the only thing I had to bring with me was my biometric appointment paper, SSN, prove of address and I already have my drivers license. I walked out with a receipt paper to drive with and within 3 days I got my card in the mail.

@Mrkvica M. thanks so much I’ll go on Monday.And one other thing ,I filed my I-360 on Feb 3rd 2022, I have received 6 PF and yesterday,the expedite I submitted on January just got denied.Do you think they gonna make decision anytime from now because I’m almost 41month or so.thanks

they give you 5 years EAD card and why some people get 2 years Ead please guys tell me.which means they will give me 2 years green card,the abuser is a US citizen why they don't give me 5 years as well @ sam Sam @Mrkvica M.

In Pennsylvania,I get the same day service and got right away. 5 years EAD so I guess every state has different rules.

@Mrkvica M. hi,I contacted my congressman last two week or so and yesterday I received an update from uscis asking for additional evidence.im yet to receive the letter tho
