Received my green card today
happy to share I’ve received my green card today. thanks to all those that post and reply to this community forum. it has helped me and I wish you the best in your immigration journeys.
in case this helps you, here is my timeline for family based I485 adjustment of status:
January 4, 2021 Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office
January 6, 2021 The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card.
January 4, 2021 We mailed your new card your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, directly to the address you gave us.
December 31, 2020 We approved your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
December 30, 2020 We ordered your new card.
November 5, 2020 We scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
April 28, 2020 We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview.
December 12, 2019 We received your response for Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
November 20, 2019 We sent a request for initial evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
October 31, 2019 We completed our review of your fingerprints and are continuing to work on your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status.
October 8, 2019 We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case.

15 days between interview and approval because I had an rfe for an updated i693, which I sent soon after the interview

the field office was Washington DC. which I believe is one the busier and slower ones.

Saqib Sheikh congrats the busiest is New York cases here 5 years still no GC my case is 4 years no interview people waiting for biometric since February 2020 here
