when is your interview? and maybe you might have to reschedule if your interview is at the end of the month

I heard that you should be fine once you start the treatment. I guess the doc will provide comment or something in the form and based on that they assume you will complete the treatment. But I did not have to go through this.

I would not recommend rescheduling your interview. Go for interview let the officer know that you do not have your medicals with you. They will tell you how to submit or will send you RFE for medicals afterwards.
