I have been offered admission into numerous PhD programs but I am unsure if I can adjust status to F1. I have overstayed my B2 by more than a year. I am well aware of the consequences and need to know if

I’ve friends who overstayed but got status adjustmented to F1. Disclaimer your case might be different, I’ll suggest you consult a lawyer
