once you get GC does Social Security send you a new card without “Only for work authorization” ?
I already got my GC approved but I wonder if I have to apply to get a new social security card without the “only valid for work” or do they send it automatically?

I went to ss office to update my status and they issued and send me new ss card without stamp within a week.

Yes,you have to apply for it on your own,they won’t change it for you until you request the new one without the note on it…
