new card being produced but then case changed to "approved"?
hi. i had my interview October 7th and that day my 485 updated to "new card being produced". the next day the case changed from new card being produced to "case approved". shouldn't be case approved first and then new card being produced?
i also checked on USCIS website case status and it says case approved but the day before it said new card being produced. do you guys think they're still producing my card or they are not? i really need to travel ASAP so i can't wait to have the green card on hand

Congratulations, this is normal, you will receive the green card a week after the interview, this is exactly what happened to me two weeks ago

1- New card is being produced
2-case was approved
3-card was mailed to you
4- card was picked up by USPS
“congratulations 🎊 “ you’re good ! wait for step 3 and 4.
“when the card is being picked up by the USPS, they will give you a tracking number so you can follow it. in less than 3 weeks you will have the GC in hand.

@alex pow my PD is March 1 2021 and my case was processed at NBC. the interview was in Hartford CT

@melanie Hansen the interview went very good, it was an hour long but the agent said it was an easy approval because our case was not complex and we've been together for a while, we had a lot of bona fide evidence. we got separated from the beginning though,they asked my husband questions without me and then they asked me the same questions
