And is it possible to apply for an I-131 for a family member residing outside the US?

@konitzer the parole that I requested was for me because I want to travel outside the US but don't have the residency card yet. I reside in the US, pending on I-485

@Konitzer Anytime. You should apply. I expedited my process based on urgent humanitarian reasons, too and it was approved.

Does it give you multiple entries?

@Mar I called twice and explained to them the reasons. They schedule an appointment, in which I had to give them the form I-131, 2 passport photos, supporting docs and the I-485 receipt notice to waive the fee.

@Mar they gave me a single entry because I haven't taken the biometrics. After I take the biometrics which would be the 30th, they may give me the combo card. If you already took the biometrics they will give you the combo card when you expedite I-131

I understand, so if had already done the biometric you wouldn’t have needed passport photos?

@Mar I think you wouldn't need it. Anyways, the agent will tell you the documents you need to bring for the appointment and you can always ask her because she might give you general information.

The first time I called they only gave me a referral number. second time I called they scheduled my appointment so make sure you call more than once if it is necessary until they schedule an appointment for you.
