@Beatric. As long as you submit a application for work permit and travel document. if those are approved your spouse will get a Social security card as well as Advance Parole to travel

after getting your marriage license you can make an appointment to get married at the mayors office that’s an option…..the change of status takes a while so file for the EAD same time as the adjustment of status you would have to file another form for request to travel I filed adjustment of status November 2021 and still waiting for my interview to be scheduled

After you receive your marriage license, you need to get married and then, apply for your marriage certificate. Once you have the marriage certificate, you apply for the following with USCIS: I-131, I-765, and I-485. Instrad of applying for the I-130, you submit your K-1 approval letter.
