Hey! I would like to ask how did you make a joint bank account without having a social security number? my husband is USC so he has one but I don’t, can he add me after making one? please tell me your experiences!

Credit unions are pretty good to add foreign spouse with no SSN to existing account - you just have to show ID and maybe marriage certificate

Another option is ITIN number for dependents which will help to add the joint account and joint tax file etc

2) if you have SSN the Agent aske you where is the Authorisation for SSN ok because your SSN only work with DHS Authorisation
