If you stop schooling, you looses your F1 status. If you don't care about that, yes you can stop.

You can stop school if your i485 is pending. You will lose F1 status anyway if you use your EAD before getting GC, since you can't work full-time or off-campus on F1 without CPT/OPT, so might as well drop out now, unless you have a valid option to work on F1 until GC is approved.

keep in mind that if any problem happen with your AOS you will be out of status. when you is with authorized presence because of the pending adjustment if any unexpected situation happen you don’t have any status to use to adjuste or whatever. :)

@pij carce don’t use your AED , I used mine and now I am in 50/50 if I will getting my GC, so if you have tuition fee continue with school though it’s stressful paying all that tuition,again seek for opt and you can use your opt full time

@gigglening lee CRP does not mean you are approved, mine was reopen from CRP and asked me more evidence where I was after school , waiting for them to determine
