Interview timeline for K1 visa in Ankara
Hello every one,
I recently got a welcome letter that my case is transferred to Ankara embassy. I was wondering:
1- how much time it takes to receive a letter from embassy about the next step instruction
2- Should we do anything during this wait time
3- how long would it take for us to get an interview date?

I got my first and second question answered,
1- It took 1 week to receive that letter from embassy
2- You can fill out DS-160 from online and have that confirmation number available

My documents have also been sent to Ankara, now it is Case Ready 25-Sep-2023. Now what should I do aportiment?

2 things you need to do:
1- email embassy with your fiance's full name, email address and case number
2- Fill out DS-160 from and wait for the embassy to email you
Once you do that they will send you an email with instructions how to schedule an appointment.

@Harry Ba when embassy will send you second email? is it ok to register an account and try to find appointment without second email from Embassy? Also, how long will it take to schedule an appointment? thank you,

Bumping Jason's question. If my case status on CEAC is set as "case ready" but I haven't gotten the instruction email from the embassy, can I still go ahead and book an appointment?
