First of all Congratulations! You are almost towards the finish line. I recently had my interview as well but my questions were very casual. Just asked me what my job was in and what I will do. I was done in about 5 minutes, guess it depends on the visa officer. Again you cannot be overqualified for EB3 EW so nothing to be worried about. I have 2 masters myself so I was prepared if they asked me about it. The status for me changed in around 3 days. Plus you have already worked for your sponsor so that’s something that proves that you are serious about this. In my case I have not worked for my sponsor.

@Mark White Thanks, I was kinda worried after the interview but later realized that I have submitted all the documents like EVL 485J and legit sponsor so I stopped worrying lol. So I’m sharing so that others can get some insight about the interview and what to expect.

@tribal chief I’m still trying to figure out. case remains pending during the retrogression - they sent medical RFE March and then case is ready to interview . I had a first one in 2022. everything f was okay

@tribal chief I have other friends from the same sponsor ( Taco Bell : BDV ) getting a second other approved already . impossible to understand

don’t worry the status will change once you become current so just relax and don’t think a lot

@PD: Oct 2021 since you are not current yet, they’ll put your status back to CRP if everything goes well. when i had my interview done, and pd wasn’t current, they put my status CRP right after i walked out of the office.

@GB B Surprised to receive a big fat RFE notice. I already submitted 485j and EVL during interview but they’re requesting it again plus all employment history since last arrival, W2, address history with proof like utilities bill or something to prove you stayed there, copy of contract with BDV

yeah that’s what BDV said to me. I told them I’m still willing to work with my sponsor after green card. After that, BDV said they’ll talk to the sponsor and see if they’re willing to rehire me and told me I have to look for another sponsor on my own incase my sponsor doesn’t want to hire me. But luckily they were willing to hire me so I got the 485j signed by them

@GB B kind of late like two days before interview. you just keep messaging them, let them know it’s urgent and interview is near. double check your Supp J, make sure everything is filled out and correct so you don’t get RFE again after interview like me for Supp J
