@abola yes I was, but the judge granted the termination of the case in july so I didn’t of to go to the master calendar hearing in August. once the case was terminated we refiled a new i485 and i765 case.

congratulations am exactly un the same boat i was in removal proceedings and the immigration judge terminated my removal in July based on i130 approval but the local office requested my AOS package from dhs and they scheduled my interview the end of this month in San Bernardino office too

@max apart from waiting almost 2 hrs to be called the process their was ok. The officer asked why I was put in removal proceedings. ensure you take the termination letter and also the approval notices for the approved i130 I didn’t take mines today and the officer asked for them because he said the system was moving slow. he was patient and really didn’t make it an issue though wishing you all the best

@Abola you should get a lawyer to file the documents and submit it to the judge

I remember that my lawyer sent me a letter to sign it …so u should hire a lawyer to do that for u

yea I have a lawyer but I just want to know if you submitted any documents to him for the termination.

my lawyer submitted the I 130 approval and wrote other letters. just ask your lawyer to file for termination he will know all the paperwork to submit

u should give ur lawyer the complete AOS package includes the medical report and everything and ur lawyer should send u a letter to sign it and he will send all the documents to the immigration court and also to the dhs ( my second master hearing was coming soon ) so my lawyer sent just the AOS package before the master hearing and in the master hearing my lawyer was on the phone with the immigration judge and the dhs attorney and my lawyer asked the judge to terminate the removal and the judge gave him individual hearing after one year and half and the judge sent my lawyer email with instructions to follow if we want to terminate the removal and he told me lawyer that if they approved the termination they will take off the individual hearing from the system and then we can go a head to adjust with the uscis …so my lawyer followed the instructions and he sent me a letter to sign then like 2 weeks later we received the termination letter and they took off the individual hearing from the system … if u don’t have hearing coming soon let ur lawyer prepare all the documents with motion of termination and send copy to the immigration court and the dhs attorney

@pepejj it’s ok. I thought I ended up in proceedings because I withdrew my vawa application, but the officer told me today that I was placed in removal proceedings before I with withdrew my vawa petition because I overstayed my visiting visa.

@Niquee if you don't mind me asking , when you overstayed your visa were you not married at the time? I also overstayed my visa but I was married to my husband by then .
