Your EAD came along with that I-797c notice of action. If you check there it says that your EAD is automatically extended for 180 days, as long as you show proof that you submitted your application for the EAD renewal.

Thank you Lily. Yes. I was supposed to get I-797C notice of action with 180 days extension; however, the only notice I got was the online account access. That notice did not show anything about 180 days extension just steps for how to activate the uscis account.

if you set up that account online then your notice will be available on the account and you can print it off

I just got the receipt said case was received and a notice of receipt was sent. There is nothing about 180 days extension. My EAD will expire in one week. The waiting time so sad

I called USCIS, they said they did not send me the 180 days notice. They said they would reach me via email. But I am still waiting for the email.

how does it work? do u get notified if you get the 180 days extension or the EAD card would just arrive? how long the validity of your new EAD? and timeline on when u submitted and received please?

@ter my EAD arrived and it's 2 yrs took about 109days , would have be less but they requested for additional document
