I485 approved before I130
hello, this is my first post. i got some good news but i have a follow up. on Friday i got a notification on my i130 that they are taking actively reviewing it. on Saturday (yesterday) i got the email notification and the lawfully notification that my i485 had been approved (even though my uscis portal no longers shows my case status). now, my question is, is it normal for the 485 to be approved before the 130? a win is a win tbh i just wanted triple confirmation from you all🥲😅#i130 #i485

Yes they say your I-485 cannot be approved without the I-130. Congratulations!

Your I-130 has to be approved first before your I-485 can be approved. The USCIS system is slow updating case status, so I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. Congratulations!

if they approved i 485 that mining uscis guive you A. Green card or.permanent Resident

@the one The i485 cannot be approved without the i130. However, if the i485 is approved it could be assumed that they approved your i130 and forgot to update it in the system. Congratulations, go get your stats.
