my husband is abroad in Colombia. the RFE was for 2 affidavits supporting marriage and a copy of the civil marriage registration. we got married in Colombia. I submitted my case back in Nov 14th 2021 and my first notice that it was actively being reviewed was back in Jan 27, 2021. I’m learning as I go, I don’t have a lawyer….so far I’m not sure if my interview will be waived. All I know is my case was approved and I’m expecting a letter in the 5 days with the next steps to take. I will definitely keep everyone posted. btw: I recommend the following: I’ve included proof of all the flights I’ve taken to Colombia in the past year. Airbnb’s stays, Western Union receipts of money I have sent to him. and i also sent lots of pictures from every trip I have taken to Colombia during the past year.
