In my interview they asked me many things about my husband, they asked where he was born, his date of birth, if he had children, if he had financial dependents, his address… Many things.

I am the sponsor for my husband and had an interview a few days ago. We were first interviewed together. I was asked to verify my husbands name, date of birth, my parents name and date of birth, how he entered the US originally, how we met, what we like about each other. Our first date story. We gave some addition evidence including more photos and additional work details. Next I was asked to leave the room and my husband was questioned alone. he was asked about his immigration journey, being a student, changing jobs, if he was a terrorist, if he ever had trouble with the law, etc. He gave the officer a copy of his diploma as proof he graduated. I-130 was approved the next day and we are waiting on the i485 to be approved hopefully this weekend! the whole process was 90 minutes.

I had the I-130 approved last night (about 36 hours after the interview) and still waiting on the i485.
