I-765(C9) & Advanced Parole
I have a C14 Work Permit . I ask my lawyer assistant yesterday that can I apply C9 Work Permit & Advance Parole with my I-485 Application . Lawyer assistant said our contact was just I-485, if you have GC why would you need a Work permit or advance Parole?
Is it a red flag to apply for C9 work permit & advance parole ? or should I pay extra fee & get those applied?

if your c14 is still valid it’s most likely that the c09 will be be denied.

@Lucien J I just want to apply for it. I won’t travel.
c14 & c9 different categories. as per ChatGPT I can apply even my c14 is valid. it will be denied if its same category & if my current one is not about to expire soon

@Lucien J try checking with your lawyer. I’m not a pro but my lawyer has strongly advised not get Advance parole under Sijs. since SIJS is meant for abandoned and neglected children it makes no sense to get AP unless you want USCIS to raise questions on your SIJS claim.
