@Frank really? that’s amazing!! my 485 timeline last updated on March 31st for “ready to be scheduled for interview”, but I kinda predicted that I’ll hear from them around September or October. how long did it take for your interview to get scheduled from the “ready to be scheduled” date?

no I didn't expidate it, you mean you had done your 485 interview already?

@ Samar, if you have done the interview you will not get any ead. Directly, GC. Generally tgey have 120 days time span post interview to give you the final result

@Samar, I don’t know, my mom filed for me, so I’m in the category of unmarried child under 21. it seems to me that they’re prioritizing employment based cases as opposed to family based ones

@N V, yes! i recently got the notice for my interview date, it’s on November 8th early in the morning

@N V online it changed on October 1st, but the notice mailing date was the 27th of September. it had been on “ready to be scheduled” since March 31st, so it took almost exactly 7 months for them to schedule it.

@sara : How was your IV?

@Samar it was pretty standard, but the interviewer was stern and VERY thorough (compared to last time when i got an interviewer that was more relaxed). he just went over the 485 form with me. in the end, this time I had not left the country while application was pending, so everything was in order, but he said he needs to review whether i belong to the F2A category or not (which I calculated yesterday too, and my USCIS age is 20 years 5 months and I’ve applied for 485 2 months after I-130 was approved so he’s probably gonna realize that too and approve this case). my lawyer said we should be getting an approval within a week or so, but as of now my online status says “interview has been completed and case must be reviewed”. although I’m positive he will approve, the waiting for the decision is the worst part of this
