I-765 approved / card being produced (timeline attached)
My I-765 which was submitted with my I-485 & I-130 with a priority date 10/25/21, was approved today. Can anyone provide a timescale for delivery of the card and the SSN (I ticked the box to have it provided automatically).

@Euris Abreu: family based as in I married an American while in the US - yes. i did request the case be expedited based on a job offer.

my expedite request was submitted on 01/04/22 so about 30 days I would say.

expedite is when you request USCIS give priority to the processing on the basis on one of the excemptional circumstances they have for I-765’s ie severe hardship or a significant job offer from a non-profit. you have to be able to provide documentary proof.

did you just expedite through USCIS or did you ask for congressman and ombudsman’s help?

I just did it through USCIS. I had supporting evidence so wasn’t too concerned that I needed to go to a member of Congress.

yes! my ssn came in a seperate envelope direct from the social security administration. it arrived on the same day as my EAD (card). I ticked the box on the I-765 to request the ssn at the same time. I was very surprised it arrived at the same time. not that I had zero confidence in the system 😂😂
